Lisa Clift

Lisa trained as a Pharmacist at Aston University and qualified in 2011. Lisa completed the CPPE Primary Care Pathway, a requirement for PCN Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technician and qualified as an Independent Prescriber from Manchester University in March 2023.

Lisa is currently working as a Clinical PCN Pharmacist for Wrekin PCN, she has worked as a clinical pharmacist for the past 4 years. Her key roles are supporting her PCN with medication reviews, QOF targets and PCN projects, as well as a mentor for cross sector preregistration pharmacy technicians. Prior to this Lisa was a Community Pharmacist at Boots for 10 years. During this time she was involved in a variety of leadership and mentoring roles and involved with healthy living campaigns across Birmingham and the Black Country.

As a Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician Facilitator for STW, she has a passion for training and development and routinely provides support and training to Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians across Shropshire Wrekin & Telford. Lisa sees the importance of integrated systems and frequently provides training for a multidisciplinary team as well as Hospital and Community Pharmacy teams, this provides a great chance for networking and building relationships.

Lisa’s aim is to support and provide advice on recruiting Clinical Pharmacists. She provides a network for both newly recruited and experienced Clinical Pharmacists/ Pharmacy Technicians to discuss concerns and questions and improve clinical knowledge and confidence. She strives to grow the Clinical Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Technician role safely and efficiently and to demonstrate what a Clinical Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Technician has to offer in Primary Care.
