Dr Serena Jones

Dr Serena Jones is a local Shrewsbury-born GP with a passion for person-centred care and community health. She currently works as an NHS GP locum, alongside her role with the Integrated Care Board (ICB) as the GP Lead for Recruitment and Retention, helping to support and shape the future of general practice.

In addition to her NHS work, Serena is also an adviser and medical content writer for a number of private healthcare providers and medical device companies.

Outside of work, she’s a mum of two but you’ll most likely find her running, cycling, or off exploring the countryside, always on the lookout for new trails and places to recharge.
