Dr Rachel Sissons

Rachel is a local GP and has been working for the ICB as the GP Marketing Lead since 2023. Rachel trained in Cambridge and Manchester before moving to Shropshire in 2014. She has worked as a GP Partner in STW and is now a portfolio GP which includes working for the ICB as a Clinical Lead for Planned Care in addition to her marketing role. She also works one day a week for the West Midlands Research Delivery Network, supporting primary care to engage with clinical research in practice. She enjoys working with doctors in training and medical students as well as supporting various non-medical prescribers. Outside of work, her priorities are spending time with her young family, and taking every opportunity to go on family holidays.
